LITASCO GROUP Founding & History
- March 4, 2010, registration of LITASCO SA Central Asia Branch Office, in Astana, Kazakhstan, business has started on May 1, 2010.
- March 1, 2010, opening of LUKOIL Pan Americas, LLC Office in Manhattan, New York.
- November 27, 2009, K&S TANKER AB became LUKOIL Sweden AB and LITASCO (Switzerland) S.A. Filial Sweden's activities have been transferred to this Company as per January 1, 2010.
- In 2009, September 1, LITASCO SA starts to operate LUKOIL acquired a 45% share in Total Raffinaderij Netherlands (TRN) from Dow Chemical Company. The refinery is located in the Vlissingen Oost harbour area in the southwest part of the Netherlands, and is one of Europe's top financially performing refineries.
- In 2008, December 1, LITASCO SA Geneva, starts to operate the 49% share of the ISAB refinery (formerly ERG Raffinerie Mediterranee) which LUKOIL has bought in June 2008.
- In 2007, EIGER SHIPPING SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of LITASCO SA was established in Switzerland.
- In 2007, LUKOIL Technology Services Sàrl, the LITASCO SA exclusive IT service provider was established in Switzerland.
- In February 2005, LITASCO SA Beijing Representative Office was established.
Its activity consists in representing LITASCO SA in China in order to market fuel oil and feedstocks, crude oil, petrochemicals, lubricants.
- In September 2004, LITASCO Middle East, a Branch of LUKOIL Asia Pacific PTE LTD was established.
The Company trades finished petroleum products, intermediate feedstocks, blend components and crude oil in the Middle East and in Africa.
- In July 2002, LUKOIL Hamburg GmbH was established.
The Company is one of the leading international trading Companies in the naphta and condensate market.
- In February 2002, LUKOIL Pan-Americas LLC was established.
The Company trades fuel oil, naphta, intermediate feedstocks and other petroleum products in North America, South America and the Caribbean.
- In December 2001, LITASCO SA Sweden Filial, was established.
The Company predominantly trades gasoil as well as diesel and jet fuel that is supplied throughout Scandinavia. The Company is the biggest supplier of Russian gasoil in Scandinavia.
- At the end of 2001 LUKOIL Benelux BV was established.
The Company concentrates on the physical bunker deliveries to sea-going vessels.
- In May 2000, of the Company LITASCO SA Moscow Representative Office , was established.
Its activity concentrates on export logistics on behalf of LITASCO SA on third party barrels from FSU Countries.
- In 2000, the LITASCO Company (that in 2008 changed it's name to LITASCO SA) is founded in Switzerland as the "exclusive marketing and supply Company of the LUKOIL Group".
It became the largest Company in the LITASCO Group. It has corporate and holding functions.
- In November 1999, LUKOIL Asia Pacific PTE LTD (LAP) was established.
The Company specializes in petroleum products, lubricant, marine fuels and chemicals trading in South East Asia and the Far East. LAP joined the LITASCO Group end of year 2004.
- Between 1995 and 2000, LUKOIL consolidates its presence in E&P and marketing. A Russian Government decree transfers controlling stakes in 9 production, marketing and service companies.
- In 1993, LUKOIL is created as a public joint stock company. The Company's privatization plan is approved and a first issue of LUKOIL shares is registered.
- In 1991, Langepas Uray Kogalymneft (LUK) is set up in Russia as a state-owned company.
The new Company unites three oil producing enterprises and three oil refineries.
